Care for non-organic Manmade Fleece
Our excellent quality lambskin fleece is durable just follow a few simple steps and you will have years of use.
A gentle wash or rinse is all the fleece needs so as to keep the fibres soft and fuzzy. Fleece will not shrink or fade when washed. Because polyester fleece is naturally stain-resistant, a cold water wash with a mild detergent should get your fleece clothing clean.
Top tips
Warm or hot water on a strong cycle will degrade the quality and reduce the waterproof resistance of the fleece over time.
- Our fleece can be washed by hand or a washing machine.
- Do not use heat. So no hot water, use a cool or cold wash. No ironing. No hot tumble dryers.
- Use a mild washing detergent suitable for wool such as Woolite.
- Do not use chlorine bleach or add fabric softeners to the wash and rinse cycle.
- For tough stains that won’t budge, pre-treat them with a drop of dishwashing liquid, letting it set on the spot for about 10 minutes before blotting it away with a paper towel or cloth.
Turn your washing machine on to the gentle cycle setting using cool water. The delicate or hand wash cycle and then tumble dry on LOW or simply air dry.
